Sample Partnership Letter

This partnership letter is designed to be used for teachers to send to other educators who may be interested in establishing an educational partnership with their classroom.  This partnership can include setting up videoconferencing sessions so that students from two different places can interact and collaborate.  When establishing educational partnerships with classrooms from other countries, it is important to consider a potential language barrier that can be a hindrance on effective communication. Fortunately, there are many tools online that allow for text to be easily translated into a variety of different languages. For example, Google Translate allows you to copy paste text to be translated into 80 different languages with ease. Also, this letter should be translated for families of bilingual students so that they are aware of educational partnerships that are being planned to use in the classroom. Try using Google Translate to copy this sample partnership letter to your desired language.

Use the sample letter below to guide you to creating a partnership with another classroom.  Contact information for educators interested in establishing a partnership can be found at: CILCA, CESA 7, or ePals Global Community.
