About the Site

This website is dedicated to connecting classrooms from different parts of the world who are studying similar content area units.  Students will be able to collaborate on hands-on activities while using cutting edge technology to supplement and enhance the learning process while broadening their multicultural perspectives.  This site will describe the different types of virtual opportunities for the classroom and explain what types of technology are required to complete these projects. This website will also provide unit outlines complete with full sample lesson plans.  Educators can display interest in lesson plans and can pair with other educators who share the same interest by communicating through the blog page of this site.  Finally, each lesson plan will provide several options for technological collaboration such as videoconferencing, video uploads, virtual field trips, voice threads, blogs etc.
